What is the Angelika Membership?

The Angelika Membership is the Angelika’s loyalty program offering film lovers a variety of benefits, including exclusive screenings at Angelika Film Centers, downloads on AngelikaAnywhere.com, Angelika’s streaming service, and discounts on F&B purchases on our Angelika app. Members also earn points through purchases in-person at any Angelika Film Center, on AngelikaFilmCenter.com or on the Angelika app, which can then be redeemed towards purchases of tickets and/food and beverages at your Angelika Film Center.

Is there a fee to join the Angelika Membership?

No, the Angelika Membership is completely free.

How do I become an Angelika member?

You can join online at AngelikaFilmCenter.com, on the Angelika Film Center mobile app. Sign up here to become an Angelika Member.

What are the key benefits of becoming an Angelika member?

Members earn 1 point for every $1 spent on qualifying items at AngelikaFilmCenter.com, the Angelika app, or in-person at any Angelika Film Center.  For every 100 points earned, members receive a $5 Reward to redeem at our theaters, on AngelikaFilmCenter.com or the Angelika app.  Plus, members receive access to exclusive savings, curated screening experiences and occasional free downloads on AngelikaAnywhere.com, Angelika’s streaming service. Who can become an Angelika member?

TO BECOME AN ANGELIKA MEMBER YOU NEED TO BE A U.S. RESIDENT WHO IS AT LEAST EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OLD AND PROVIDE VALID AND ACCURATE PERSONAL INFORMATION WHEN JOINING. CORPORATIONS, GROUPS AND ASSOCIATIONS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ANGELIKA MEMBERSHIP. EMPLOYEES AND/OR EMPLOYEES OF OUR AFFILIATES, DIVISIONS OR RELATED COMPANIES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR MEMBERSHIP.

Do I need the Angelika mobile app?

While the Angelika app is not required, our mobile app will help you maximize your Membership. For guests who choose not to use the mobile app, all membership information is available on AngelikaFilmCenter.com.

What are the benefits of the Angelika app?

The Angelika app is the most convenient way to make the most of your moviegoing experience. With the Angelika app, your Angelika Membership is at your fingertips, allowing you to gain quick, easy access to your account, track points and redeem rewards.

What if I do not have an email address?

If you don’t have an email address, you can easily set up one up online. If you don’t have access to an Internet-connected personal computer or other device, check if your local library has publicly-accessible computers for use. Please note that you must confirm your email address on AngelikaFilmCenter.com in order to set up your account and begin earning points.

Is there a physical Membership card associated with the program?

No, there is no card associated with your Angelika Membership. Your online Angelika account is all you need to earn, view and redeem points and rewards.

Earning Points

How do I earn points?

When logged into your account, purchases made on AngelikaFilmCenter.com or the Angelika app will earn points. At the theater, scan your Membership QR code at the box office, café or concession stand, or provide your mobile number or email address to our Angelika Service Associate. At the kiosk, enter your mobile number or email address during your transaction to earn points.

Do I earn points for purchases made online?

Yes, any purchase on AngelikaFilmCenter.com will allow members to earn points.

Do I earn points for purchases made at the theater?

Yes. To earn points at the theater, scan your Membership QR code at the box office, concession stand and/or cafe, or provide your mobile number or email address to our Service Associate. At the kiosk, enter your mobile number or email address during your transaction to earn points.

Do I earn points when I redeem or pay with points?

No, any dollar amount in a transaction that is paid for with points is not eligible to earn additional points. For example, if you complete a transaction for $10.00, and you use points to pay for $4.00 of that transaction, you will only earn points on the remaining $6.00 of that transaction.

Do I earn points for film rentals or purchases made on Angelika Anywhere?

No, at this time, any film rental download or purchases on AngelikaAnywhere.com are not eligible to earn membership points.

Do I earn points for film rentals or purchases made on Fandango?

Yes, if you enter your Membership ID during your Fandango transaction, you will earn points.

Do I earn points on convenience fees charged by Fandango, or another third-party retailer?

No, you do not earn points on Convenience Fees charged by third party ticket providers, including Fandango.

Do I earn points for purchasing Angelika Merchandise?

No, at this time, members do not earn points for purchases of Angelika merchandise.  However, one benefit of the Angelika Membership is applicable discounts on Angelika merchandise.

Do I need a physical Membership card to earn points & rewards?

No, there are no physical cards associated with the Angelika Membership. Your points and rewards can be tracked and redeemed AngelikaFilmCenter.com, on the Angelika app. In theaters, provide our service associates with a valid mobile number that you’ve attached to your account, or your Membership number or QR Code to scan during the transaction.

Are there items that I purchase that I do NOT earn points on?

Yes, certain items do NOT earn points, including purchases of alcoholic beverages, shipping, taxes, tips, gift cards (physical or online), ScreenSavers, stand-alone vending machines, charitable donations or events or screenings booked through our dedicated Events Managers or General Theater Manager.
Also, from time to time certain exclusions may apply to earning points during special promotions.

Do I earn points when purchasing gift cards?

No, purchases of Angelika gift cards (physical or online) are not eligible to earn membership points.

Do I earn points if I pay with a gift card?

Yes, you do earn points on qualified purchases when paying with a gift card.

Do I earn points when I purchase ScreenSavers?

No, purchases of Screensavers are not eligible to earn membership points.

Do I earn points when I pay with ScreenSavers?

Yes, you do earn points when paying with Screensaver tickets.

I spoke with an Events Manager/General Theater Manager and paid for a private event. Do I earn points from that?

No, transactions that go through Events Managers and/or the Theater’s General Manager are not eligible to earn membership points.

How many points can I earn?

Members can earn up to 300 points per transaction or 500 points in a single 24 hour period.

Redeeming Points & Rewards

How do I redeem points?

To redeem points on AngelikaFilmCenter.com or the Angelika app, select “Pay with Angelika Membership points” when purchasing tickets or ordering Food & Beverage.
To redeem points at an Angelika location, scan your Membership QR code at the box office, concession stand, or café, or provide your mobile number or email address to the service associate. At the kiosk, enter your mobile number or email address during your transaction to earn points.

How can I check my Points balance?

You can get information about your Angelika Membership account, rewards and benefits in the following ways:
-Sign into to your Angelika Membership account at AngelikaFilmCenter.com
-Download the Angelika app
-Call us at 1.855.496.6847
-Ask any Angelika Service Associate whenever you visit our theaters.

Do my points expire?

Points expire after 1 year (365 days) of inactivity on your account.

Can I share or give my points to someone else?

No, your points are tied to your personal Membership account, and are non-transferrable.

Can I redeem points on Fandango, or another ticketing website outside of AngelikaFilmCenter.com or the Angelika app?

No, purchases made on third party websites, such as Fandango, are not eligible to redeem Angelika Membership points.

Can I purchase Tuesday Discount tickets on Fandango, or another ticketing website outside of AngelikaFilmCenter.com or the Angelika app?

No, Tuesday Discounts and any/all other Angelika Membership benefits can only be purchased or redeemed online at AngelikaFilmCenter.com, on the Angelika app, or in-person at any Angelika theater.

How do I redeem my birthday offer?

Your birthday offer will be added to your Membership account on the first day of your birthday month. To redeem, visit the concession stand and present your Membership QR code.

Can I exchange my points or rewards for cash, check or credit?

No, points and rewards have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash, check or credit.

Account Information & Privacy

What information do I need to provide to join the Angelika Membership?

When joining the Angelika Membership, you will be asked for your first and last name, mobile number, email address and birthday day and month. If you need help joining the Angelika Membership program, please ask a Service Associate at your Angelika or call us at 1.855.496.6847.

Why do you need to know my birthday?

Sharing your birthday (day and month) allows us to give you a special birthday reward. Visit the Privacy Policy for concerns regarding your data and information.

How does the Angelika protect my privacy?

We take steps to help protect the confidentiality and security of personal information you share with us. Please see the Angelika Privacy Policy here for more details.

What will you do with my email address if I give it to you?

When you join the Angelika Membership program and give us your email, you are opting in to receiving marketing communications from us. You may change your marketing communication preferences online any time in your Angelika Membership account. You can also unsubscribe by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link found at the bottom of our emails. If you opt out marketing communications, you will continue to receive service messages from us about the Angelika Membership program. Please see the Angelika Privacy Policy for more details.

If I opt out of marketing communications, will I still be able to receive all my rewards & member perks?

No. Several member perks are communicated to you via email, so opting out of marketing communications may cause you to miss out on special member perks, savings or opportunities.

Do I have to give my mobile number and email address?

 Your mobile phone number is the unique identifier for your account, to ensure we can always look it up and allow you to earn points on qualified purchases when visiting the theater. Because we use your mobile number and email address to identify you as a member and to notify you of your Angelika Membership benefits, you must make sure that both are up to date. We also may send you a text message at the mobile number you provide to verify the number.

I think someone may be logging into my account and using my points. How can I fix this?

Please log in here and click “Change Password,” then follow the prompts to change your password. Please change your password regularly to ensure security of your account, and make sure to use a complex password that includes at least 15 characters, special characters (#, $, @, ., etc.) and a combination of upper-case and lower-case letters. When using shared devices, make sure to log out after completing a transaction.
You are responsible for ensuring the security of your account and login credentials. The Angelika has no obligation to reimburse any credits that are spent pursuant to any unauthorized use of your Membership, account information or login credentials.

Will my Membership ever expire or be deactivated?

No, your Angelika Membership does not expire and will not be deactivated.

How do I update my email address in my Angelika Membership profile?

To update your profile, click here, or reach out to us at Membership@AngelikaFilmCenter.com or call us at 1.855.496.6847.

How do I update my payment information?

To edit or add a new credit, debit or gift card, log into AngelikaFilmCenter.com or the Angelika app, and then click on “My Account” and “Payment,” or click here.

I have more than one Angelika Account. Can I merge them into one account?

Can I combine member benefits and promotions to get more rewards?

No, member benefits cannot be combined.

Can I share my membership with someone else?

No, the Angelika membership requires a unique email address. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

What if my points are incorrect?

If your points are incorrect, you may have made a purchase while logged out of your account, or you may have forgotten to scan your Membership QR code at the theater. For assistance, feel free to reach out to us at Membership@AngelikaFilmCenter.com or call us at 1.855.496.6847.

Will I receive any communications from the Angelika as a member?

Yes. As a Member, you are automatically subscribed to our weekly newsletter, and you will receive other e-mails from the Angelika containing special offers or promotions or transactional e-mails. We may also provide coupons and special offers to Members via SMS messages, through the Angelika app or on AngelikaFilmCenter.com.

What happens if I forget to tell the Angelika Service Associate that I am an Angelika Member or I forget to enter my Angelika Membership number when I check out online?

Unfortunately, there is no way to earn points for a purchase you already made if you did not first scan your QR Code or tell your Service Associate that you are a Member. Don’t forget to self-identify as an Angelika Member to receive points at the time of the transaction.

Cancel a Membership

Can I cash out my points and rewards if I cancel my membership?

No, points and rewards do not have a cash value and cannot be cashed out. If you cancel your membership, you forfeit any remaining points or rewards.

How do I cancel my membership?

If you cancel your Angelika Membership, you will forfeit all remaining benefits and rewards including any points, access to screening and promotions.
