After working together for 40 years across 8 different films, actor Antonio Banderas and director Pedro Almodovar have created a film that took the entire cinema industry by storm with countless awards and nominations across film festivals from Palm Springs to Jerusalem to Cannes, when they received a Palme d’Or nomination. From there, PAIN & GLORY film received Golden Globe and Academy Award Nominations for both Best International Feature Film and Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role.

Banderas joined us at the Angelika New York for a Q&A where he discussed his journey working with Almodovar:
