In this episode of our San Diego based series #CoffeeClub, the Angelika’s Natasha Mulholland interviews 48-Hour Film Project’s Duane Trammell & Robyn Sarvis.

Duane’s fascination with photography and moviemaking began in his childhood and has stayed with him throughout his life. After a short time in the US Navy where he experimented with various forms of animation, he graduated from SDSU’s Television, Film and New Media Production program. An award winning participant in the 48 Hour Film Project in 2005 and 2007, he took over as the San Diego 48HFP producer in 2009.

Robyn Sarvis joined the San Diego 48 Hour Film Project as a Producer in 2013. Robyn has been involved with the performing arts since she was very young. In 1997 she was selected to be the Disneyland Ambassador to the World. In that role she represented the Cast Members of the Disneyland Resort in television interviews, radio and print media, hospital visits with Disney characters, and press and community events. Robyn is a former participant in the San Diego 48 Hour Film Project as a writer and actor. She is also a Registered Nurse.

Together, Robyn and Duane also produce the Four Points Film Project which is the all-online sister competition to the 48 Hour Film Project.
