The Angelika Film Center has always been home to underground, independent, and art-house cinema. Throughout New York City and the surrounding areas, there are more ways to celebrate the art of filmmaking: film festivals. NYC is home to many film festivals year-round, so here’s a short schedule of some of our favorites.  

All of these film festivals bring together film lovers both locally and internationally, united through the art of cinema, celebrating culture, creativity, commentary, and art.
